Seen, P8: Seeing The Persecuted
This week we look at the beatitude Jesus repeats and makes personal, from the millions of Christians persecuted worldwide to the quieter costs of faithfulness at home. Persecution isn't the reward for being difficult but the world's reaction to pursuing Jesus. Through stories from Nigeria, Romania, Sudan and Libya, we are called to pursue the heart of a martyr, a faith built on ordinary days long before it is tested.
